The name Bueokae is a combination of the Korean words Kitchen (bueok) and Love (ae).
We are inspired by Korean authentic traditional “Kitchen (Bueok)”, which we believe that every Korean home kitchen is full of love and sincerity. Not to mention, we serve our food equally and neatly as we serve our families and friends.
Beyond the taste and the service, we will bring you warm hearted memories that deeply touch your heart.

The food is soulful, the people are kind, and no matter what you order, it’s bound to be delicious. The name “Bueokae” translates to Love’s Kitchen, and you can truly taste the love in every dish. Each plate is full of flavour, thought, and heart. My husband, son, and I enjoyed every single dish we tried, from Gamjatang Jeongol to Bulgogi, each one was absolutely delicious. The staff are just as warm and welcoming as the food. They were so kind to our son, going out of their way to help with his requests and making us feel completely at home. My son also discovered new favourites including Goguma Jorim and Corn Cheese. One moment that really stayed with me was seeing the staff take a lunch break together. They all sat around a long table, sharing food and conversation. It was such a beautiful reflection of the kind of community this restaurant fosters. Bueokae makes you want to throw on your coziest sweater and settle in for a comforting, joy-filled meal. It’s a restaurant I hope to return to for many years as my family grows!
